Enterprise consortium is multidisciplinar and composed of Basque leading enterprises and world referents in forging and foundry, inclidung specialists in ITC and Energy:
All of them will collaborate to develop the new architecture and energy efficient production processes.
Enterprise consortium will benefit from the scientific and technologic collaboration of 9 Basque technology agents from the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network (RVCTI): IK4-AZTERLAN, IKERGUNE, UNIVERSIDAD DE DEUSTO, MONDRAGON UNIBERTSITATEA (MGEP), VICOMTECH, DOMINION I+D, ACE4C, CIE R&D e IK4-IKERLAN.
EFFORT 4.0 project perfectly fits on Sife mission, as 3 consortium enterprises (ALCORTA, CIE AUTOMOTIVE y ULMA PIPING) are members of the Association. EFFORT 4.0 performs a research in industry 4.0 paradigm for the forging and foundry sectors and develops predictive models. That is a world innovation, not existing any technological precedent in those sectors, allowing the enterprise competitivity increasing (Sife main objective).
